Hand hygiene plays a critical role in reducing the transmission of microorganisms. There are many types of products available for hand hygiene but how do we choose what to use and when to use them? This course will address the need for proper hand hygiene as part of a comprehensive infection control program in the dental office.

Instructor: Latanya Williams, RDH, BS; Adjunct instructor DSI with over 25 years of teaching and clinical experience. She graduated from Loyola University (New Orleans, LA) with a Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene degree. She has instructed for allied dental education programs as well as served as full-time faculty at Rutgers School of Health Related Professions (formerly UMDNJ-SHRP). She has presented on various dental continuing education topics over the years.
